Yesterday marked the introduction of new didactic materials and the launch of a new website as part of the "Stop Mobbing" anti-bullying campaign in Luxembourg.

On 9 July 2018, various didactic materials and the new website www.stop-mobbing.lu were presented at an event in the Auditoire, eduPôle, Walferdange. Some 70 students from cycle 4 of Gasperich and Hollenfels primary schools were present, along with their teachers and representatives of regional directorates, the Centre for Civic Education, the SCRIPT (Service de coordination de la recherche et de l'innovation pédagogiques et technologiques), the IFEN (Institut de formation de l'Éducation nationale), the Competency Centre for pupils with socio-emotional needs (Center pour le développement socio-émotionnel), as well as individuals involved in the production of the teaching materials.

Since the school year 2012/2013, employees of the SCRIPT project "Stop Mobbing" have been supporting teachers and educational staff in elementary schools in their efforts to prevent bullying in classes.

All employees of the project have training and many years of experience in mediation. The project works according to the "no blame approach", i.e. rather than focusing solely on the problem, it works in a solution-oriented manner, trusting the resources and abilities of the students to find effective solutions. Increasingly, schools are also working proactively on bullying, as illustrated by the fact that more and more schools are asking for awareness classes on bullying.
