On Tuesday, B Medical Systems, the world's leading manufacturer and distributor for large-scale vaccination programmes in emerging markets and medical refrigeration, hosted Romain Schneider, Luxembourg's Minister of Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, Leo Faber, Deputy Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, and Natasha Gomes, multilateral UN and specialised agencies, at its headquarters in Hosingen.
During the meeting, Minister Schneider and B Medical Systems management discussed the situation in the health sector and the specific needs in different geographical areas and, in particular, Luxembourg's cooperation partners. Thus the diplomatic network and the support of the Directorate of Cooperation is an important vector of information, influence and opening for B Medical Systems.
The management of the company presented the evolution of the company and its strategic development as a world leader in cold chain with its "Made in Luxembourg" products, begun after the acquisition of teh company by management and Navis Capital Partners in spring 2015. The contribution of shareholders resulted in a name change in September 2015. This new impetus generated a dynamic corporate culture towards a greater flexibility and a increased reactivity with respect to strategic decisions.
The current investment plan allows B Medical Systems to quickly develop its production site in Hosingen to accommodate a growing team of Luxembourg and international experts and ensure the production of new products, some presenting world premieres in the industry.
B Medical Systems is firmly established in Luxembourg and is the only manufacturer offering a complete range of refrigerators, freezers and transport containers, ensuring the quality of all the links in the cold chain, covering 75% globally.
The Minister and his team were given a tour of the factory and saw the range of B Medical Systems products when visiting the production site and training centre in Hosingen.
