Mary Carey Joins PwC as Media Relations & Editorial Manager

On Monday 14 May 2018, PwC Luxembourg announced that as of 1 May 2018, Mary Carey has joined the firm as Media Relations & Editorial Manager reporting directly to Youcef Damardji, Head of Communication.

Both Canadian and Irish, Mary has lived in Luxembourg since 1991 with a five-year hiatus.

Most recently, Mary worked for two years as Senior Marketing and Communication Officer at Luxinnovation GIE, Luxembourg’s national research and innovation agency and ten years as Communication Manager at ArcelorMittal including five years working for their Canadian company, Baffinland Iron Mines. Before this, Mary was a full time business and finance journalist for PaperJam Magazine and worked for 4+ years for Maison Moderne including writing Flydoscope, Luxair’s inflight magazine.

Youcef Damardji stated "We hired Mary to help strengthen our PwC Communication team and bring her extensive experience in business, finance and of course communication and particularly editorial. In terms of Media Relations, Mary will work with Camille Martagni, our Media Relations Officer."​
