Ara City Radio's Natasha;

Ara City Radio has announced that it is offering the opportunity for anyone to become a radio presenter, by offering The Ara City Experience (ACE) to musicians and members of the public who would like to host their own radio show but who do not know how to get started.

After studying politics and broadcast journalism, Ara City Radio’s Natasha always dreamed of being on the radio, but was afraid to enter into an industry she was told was too competitive. After 10 years of unfulfilling office work she decided to bite the bullet and approach the radio after hearing of a possible opening. Her gamble came up trumps and she became an Ara City presenter.

Wanting to share her good fortune of living her dream, The Ara City Experience (ACE) was born. The ACE Show is a great opportunity for musicians and music enthusiasts, or anyone who has dreamed of their own radio show.

Natasha said “It was drummed into me at school what a proper job was. I managed to work in the public and private sector and do some really interesting work and sometimes some really boring work, but I was never fulfilled. When I finally got the courage to follow my gut, my dreams became reality. I was brainstorming ideas one day and thought why not share that feeling with others, hence the ARA City Experience was born. I think everyone will have fun, especially musicians or entertainers will have great time doing what I’ve started calling ‘The ACE Show’".

The experience is a 30 minute recorded show where people decide the music and content and Natasha guides them through production. The show is published on the ARA City Radio social media and people get a link to this which you can share with friends, fans, etc., via email and on social media.

People can make the ACE Show whatever they wish, perhaps have a hot topic to discuss, a hobby to share, a passion to inform people about, or play an instrument, or just play what the best tracks, chat and introduce songs.
