This year marks the 30th anniversary of LeasePlan in Luxembourg; to celebrate the event, LeasePlan has launched its electic mobility solution.
In Luxembourg, LeasePlan has grown continuously during its three decades of activity, now having more than 1000 customers and 50 employees to its name.
On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, LeasePlan Luxembourg has launched its electromobility solution. The innovative approach revolves around four main themes: advice and support to customers through tailor-made studies conducted according to the stated objectives in terms of sustainable mobility and cost; agile passage to an electric fleet, ie a selection of e-vehicles according to the existing fleet, training of drivers to the particularities of electric driving; implementation of an all-inclusive solution, equipping drivers of electric vehicles with an interoperable recharging card that can be used anywhere in Europe, the ability to charge their vehicle at work or at home, reimbursement of electricity costs and a mobile application indicating the charging stations; active support in the transition to the electric fleet, including a single point of contact to meet all the needs of drivers and companies.
In 2017, LeasePlan affirmed its ambitions with a new management team in order to optimise the deployment of its strategy for innovative and sustainable mobility in the Grand Duchy.
LeasePlan has also announced its intention to move the entire fleet of its employees to electric vehicles by 2021. The transition is already underway in the Grand Duchy where some employees are waiting for the delivery of their electric vehicle.
