After the first section linking LuxExpo to the Pont Rouge was commissioned in December 2017, the tram is now serving three new stations: Theatre, Faiencerie and Stäreplaz / Etoile and links the Kirchberg plateau to the city centre.
The tram runs every day of the week, from Monday to Sunday. From Monday to Friday, the first tram leaves "Luxexpo" at 04:47 and "Stäreplaz / Etoile" at 05:07. The trams leave every 6 minutes between 06:30 and 19:30, and every 10 to 15 minutes outside these times. On Saturdays, the first tram departs from the "Luxexpo" stop at 05:35. At "Stäreplaz / Etoile", the first travelers will be able to board the tram from 05:55. The frequency is 10 minutes between 08:00 and 19:30. The last departure of the new tram terminus Stäreplaz / Etoile is at 23:54. On Sundays, a tram runs every 15 minutes, with the same amplitude as on Saturdays.
Between 27 July and 16 September 2018, all bus lines of the City of Luxembourg and RGTR regional buses will stop at the new stops of the Route d'Arlon to accommodate travelers. The Stäreplaz / Etoile exchange centre will be operational on 16 September 2018 and a new bus organisation system will be established around the pole, which will be presented in the beginning of September.
