ALD Automotive Luxembourg and Moovee have launched the first portal for multimodal mobility for companies in the Grand Duchy.
For the 17th edition of the European Mobility Week, the leader of the long-term rental market, ALD Automotive Luxembourg and the start-up Moovee have decided to join forces to offer, together, the first multimodal mobility portal for businesses in Luxembourg, integrating cars, bicycles, scooters and carpooling into one solution.
Faced with ever-increasing traffic in urban and border areas as well as increasingly limited parking spaces, ALD Automotive and Moovee wanted to develop a service in increasing demand: shared mobility. As such, the management of the two companies have decided to collaborate to propose a complete offer integrating solutions of shared vehicles and carpooling for companies, all available under a single application accessible from a smartphone.
The agreement allows both partners to offer shared car, bike or scooter solutions for a fixed monthly rent.
For ALD Automotive Luxembourg, the partnership makes it possible to complete its multimodal offering and offer a solution that is simple, secure and integrated. The application Moovee allows to visualise the availability of the various vehicles and to reserve them in a few clicks. The use is governed by the corporate badge following the rules of use defined with the employer. The portal also facilitates mobility between colleagues thanks to the carpooling solution.
