Luxembourg racecar driver Dylan Pereira has maintained his 3rd place position in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2018 thanks to his performance of  at the Hockenheim circuit last weekend.

This past weekend in Hockenheim, the drivers got off to a difficult start with the rain and a slippery circuit, but Dylan Pereira once again showed his skill by taking fifth place among the 31 qualifying cars. With weather forecasts predicting probable instability for the race, Dylan Pereira took the opportunity to develop the best tyre and tuning solutions for dry and wet racing conditions.

After his withdrawal from the last race and consequent lack of points, the goals for Hockenheim were to finish in a good position and maintain the third place of the championship. Successful objectives for the Luxembourger.

At the start of the race, Dylan Pereira was cautious and avoided the usual touches in the first corners. Throughout the race he was part of a group of four Porsche GT3 Cup Type 2s who fought for fourth place. A little faster than his opponents, two laps from the end, Dylan Pereira seized a rare opportunity and jumped to fifth place scoring 12 extra points that allow him to retain the 3rd place of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2018.
