500 People Take Part in 1st ACL Karting Challenge Day

On Saturday 23 September 2023, the Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL) held a new edition of its "Oldtimermaart" (classic cars market) as well as its first Karting Challenge Day.

Sellers and buyers met this year in Mondercange at the edge of the ACL karting track for the Oldtimermaart. For Frank Maas, head of the historic vehicles department of ACL, "the site lends itself perfectly to this type of event." He added: "We have a passionate audience of all ages. The atmosphere is friendly, everyone feels good. It's a real success." The event was launched in 2021 and this year, about 40 vehicles were on display.

ACL also organised its first Karting Challenge Day on Saturday. More than 500 people took part in the event, which culminated in a kart endurance race. Fourteen crews of two to four drivers competed for two hours under timid clearings. The objective was above all to have a great experience as a team.
