Road works will be taking place in the Mersch tunnel on the A7 tunnel between Mersch and Lorentzweiler from 20:00 this evening until Monday morning.
The Luxembourg Roads Authority will carry out a project concerning the installation of detection probes in the Mersch tunnel on the A7 motorway between the Mersch and Lorentzweiler interchanges from Friday 16 November 2018 at around 20:00 to Monday 19 November 2018 around 06:00.
The following closures will be put in place during this period: the A7 motorway between the Mersch interchange and the Lorentzweiler interchange from Friedhof and towards the Grünewald junction and the Mersch interchange ramp from the N8 towards the Grünewald junction.
Traffic from the N8 (Mersch) and towards the Grünewald junction (A7) will be diverted via the N7 to the Lorentzweiler interchange on the A7 motorway, whilst traffic from Friedhof (A7) and towards the Gründewald junction (A7) will be diverted from the Mersch interchange via the N8 and N7 (Mersch) to the Lorentzweiler interchange on the A7 motorway .
With preparatory work being carried out a few hours beforehand, traffic disruption is to be expected today in the early evening.
