The Automobile Club Luxembourg (ACL) has urged car owners to check their vehicle at the ACL Diagnostic Centre before going to technical control.

Many vehicles have been banned from the road following technical control procedures due to braking equipment problems, issues with axles, wheels, tyres or suspension, or problems with the underframe or its accessories.

In partnership with the SNCT, the ACL aims to help vehicle owners in this situation: as of 1 February, Clubmobil ACL vehicles will be parked on the SNCT site in Sandweiler and can be rented to motorists whose vehicles have been taken off the roads. This service may be extended to other SNCT control stations at a later stage.

To avoid getting stuck, the ACL has advised motorists to check their vehicle at the ACL Diagnostic Centre and consult the advice provided on the ACL website before going to technical control.
