The Musée National d’histoire et d’art (MNHA) will be exhibiting two pieces of art from their prized collection at the 2016 edition of The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
The Museum will be displaying their pieces at the TEFAF until Sunday 20 March 2016 to the leading professionals of the art world (dealers, experts, critics, collectors, researchers). The paintings, “Luxembourg” (ca 1936) by Joseph Kutter and “Paysage de Cannes au crepuscule” (1960) by Pablo Picasso, will be displayed at the Luxembourg Freeport stand, number 822.
Luxemburg Freeport is a professional storage facility for valuable artefacts based in Findel.
At TEFAF, pieces ranging from classical modern and contemporary art to jewellery and photographs are not only available for viewing but also for sale. Any dealer wishing to partake is only admitted after a strict selection process. This process involves 175 international experts in 29 different categories who closely examine each work before authenticating it.
