Luxembourg-based singer-songwriter Bartleby Delicate today released his first single “A Little Less Home”, taken from his debut EP “Whatever We Find Suitable To Compare”.

To celebrate the upcoming release of his first EP, Bartleby Delicate has scheduled a release tour starting on 23 April, during which he will perform a full headline show at the release party in Rotondes on 9 May.

The singer-songwriter, known in the Luxembourg music scene for being the frontman of indie band ‘Seed to Tree’, has been around for the better part of a year now, quickly establishing himself as a live act to be reckoned with at festivals such as Koll An Aktioun and Food For Your Senses or as an opening act for artists such as Rodrigo y Gabriela, The Welshly Arms or Giant Rooks.

With his new single and EP, Bartleby Delicate attempts to convey his own reflection on the human encounter, trying to point out the interconnectedness beyond all roles and categories. The perspectives are constantly shifting, as he treats the same topic from different angles, either from the point of view of a trivial everyday story or in a more abstract, cryptic manner.

The EP was recorded at Audio Oak studios and produced by Tom Gatti (Eternal Tango, Fox). During a sonic quest driven by reflection and experimentation, the bard and his producer managed to come up with a subtle arrangement underlining the delicate vocals and guitar playing and dipping into electronic sounds, vintage mellotron synthesisers and ambient soundscapes.

Bartleby Delicate will also hit the road in support of his new releases during an extensive tour in Germany with German duo ‘Bender und Schillinger’.
