The new summer programme of “Kinnekswiss loves..." will feature concerts on Saturday 30 June and Sunday 1 July 2018.

Following the success of last year's outdoor concert on the Kinnekswiss at the Municipal Park of Luxembourg City, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has organised a new summer programme under the signature "Kinnekswiss loves...". The aim is to highlight this emblematic place through the organisation of events.

The programme will kick off with the prestigious concert “Kinnekswiss loves... Elīna Garanča & Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg” on Saturday 30 June at 21:00. The Latvian mezzo-soprano will perform a fervent pastiche of unforgettable opera arias like "Love is a rebellious bird" by Carmen, accompanied by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of its conductor Gustavo Gimeno.

Then, on Sunday 1 July, musical workshops for 6-7 year old children will be offered from 15:00-17:00, followed by the concert "Kinnekswiss loves... Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg & Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg" at 17:00. Conducting the performance will be Marc Meyers, with the participation of the boys' choir "Pueri Cantores" under the direction of Pierre Nimax jun.

Entrance to both concerts is free.

Catering and drinks stands are on site.
