The programme for this year's Blues'n Jazz Rallye, featuing 89 gigs taking place on 20 and 21 July 2018 across Luxembourg City, has been unveiled.

The Blues'n Jazz Rallye 2018 will feature 89 gigs in the Pfaffenthal, Clausen and Grund districts of Luxembourg's capital, on Friday 20 July from 19:00 to 24:00 at Hotel Le Royal and Saturday 21 July from 18:00 to 03:00 in Pfaffenthal, Clausen and Grund

The official launch of the 24th edition of the Blues'n Jazz Rallye, organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office, the City of Luxembourg and the Blues Club Lëtzebuerg, will be held on Friday 20 July from 19:00 til midnight in the presence of Ivan Paduart Trio (France) and Pugsley Buzzard (Australia) at the Piano Bar and its terrace at Hotel Royal in the city centre. of the Piano Bar at the Royal hotel in the city center.  

On Saturday 21 July, the programme continues from 18:00 to 03:00 in the Pfaffenthal, Clausen and Grund districts. During a sleepless night, this musical marathon
brings together more than two hundred musicians and 89 concerts held in cafes, clubs and restaurants as well as sixteen outdoor scenes nestled at the foot of
ramparts of the old UNESCO-classified fortress. The event will attract internationally renowned musicians and a transregional audience.

For the 2018 edition, the highlights of jazz are Fred Wesley and Jazzanova who rub shoulders with Luxembourg jazzmen Ernie Hammes, David Laborier, Jeff Herr and Maxime Bender. On the blues side, Low Society and Soul Return are among the main acts, not to mention many Luxembourgish blues artists such as the iconic Heavy Petrol and Sneaky Pete.

Entrance to the festival is free.
