Brasserie K116 has added four concerts to its 2018 programme.
The first will see Go By Brooks perform tomorrow, 25 July 2018, at the brasserie. The band released its first EP, "Rivers", in 2015 and its second, "Oceans", in 2016. Since then, they have been performing regularly in concerts in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, especially in 2017 when they performed in Luxembourg, Metz, Saarbrücken, Trier and Arlon. They have been discreet this year to work on new compositions and this is one of the rare concerts that the group will do this summer. Later this year, Go By Brooks will also present their brand new album "Another Flame" at the Kulturfabrik in Esch -sur-Alzette on 8 December 2018.
The second concert, held on 26 September 2018, will feature the Patrick Riollet Jazz Band. Created in 2013, the band has performed in many festivals, concert halls and contemporary jazz clubs. The band is made up of Patrick Riollet (piano), Vincent Nolot (bass), Eric Fiegel (saxes) and Nico Wegé (drums).
Another concert, scheduled for 31 October 2018, will see southern Luxembourg rock band Strysles take the stage. Strysles, which brings together experienced musicians who are passionate about modern rock music, was founded in 2010 and is currently composed of David Lemmer (guitar), Marc Lanners (guitar), Sacha Heck (bass), Steve Krippler (drums) and Elena Kramdi-Drvosanova (vocals). Their new album entitled "Power of Life" will be released a few days before, on 26 October 2018.
Finally, wrapping up the Brasserie K116 2018 programme, Woman's Work will perform a concert on 28 November 2018. The Woman's Work project is the result of a meeting between two high-level artists: Silvia Berthold (on vocals) and Tanja Silcher (on double bass). Both artists attach particular importance to a demanding and varied programme. Thus, the duet interprets German and English titles and the listener is immediately caught in their very personal universe composed of emotional ballads.
The K116 Brasserie offers quality dinner-concerts every last Wednesday of the month. Come and discover the best artists from Luxembourg and the Greater Region.
All concerts are free of charge.
