ARA City Radio and Nick Mason are on a quest to find a singer-songwriter to support the Pink Floyd drummer at his concert at Luxembourg's den Atelier this September.

Pink Floyd’s drummer Nick Mason is embarking on his first live musical tour since Pink Floyd played London in 2005 and Luxembourg’s den Atelier is on his agenda for 9 September 2018. Always looking to do things differently, Nick and his team have asked den Atelier to get a local singer-songwriter as the support act.

As such, ARA City has launched a call to all interested musicians to send their music. The station will organise an on-air vote that will be the final decider on who plays on stage on the big night.

Nick will perform many pieces from Pink Floyd’s celebrated early body of work including songs from albums 'The Piper at The Gates of Dawn' and 'A Saucerful Of Secrets’. Pink Floyd is one of the most culturally important bands ever and Nick is a founder and the only constant member of the band performing on all of their albums as well as all of their live shows.

This September, Nick will perform an intimate live show at den Atelier, accompanied by Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken… supported by an, as yet, unannounced local artist.

Interested singer-songwriters are invited to get in touch and send an audio file to aracity@pt.lu.
