Luxembourg group Jerome Klein recently toured in India to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

During the tour, the group, composed of three musicians and a sound engineer, performed at the Jazz Club "The Piano Man" in New Delhi on 30 November 2018, the Calcutta Jazz Festival on 1 December 2018 and Park Calangute Goa on 2 December 2018. Composer Jerome Klein (keyboard/electronics) was accompanied by Pol Belardi (vibraphone and keyboard), Niels Engels (drums) and Charles Stoltz (sound engineer).

In New Delhi, the group delighted the Indian audience with its current trends and a hundred or so spectators attended this concert oscillating between electronic sounds, and pop and melancholic improvisations. Jerome Klein also had the chance to promote their new record to the audience.

This tour, which formed part of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Luxembourg, was organised in close collaboration with Gatecrash and the Luxembourg music promotion agency MusicLX, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in New Delhi and the Luxembourg Consulate in Calcutta.
