The Luxembourg national Lacrosse team has released its roster for the Men’s World Championship 2018, taking place in Netanya, Israel from 12-21 July 2018.

For the very first time, the Luxembourg Lacrosse Men’s team will participate in a Federation of International Lacrosse tournament: the Men's Lacrosse World Championships in Israel.

The team will compete against 47 other lacrosse teams consisting of newly established national teams, such as Bulgaria and Chile, as well as more established countries.

In the run-up to the tournament, the Luxembourg team has been preparing since last November.

The 20-player roster representing Luxembourg is composed of Coleman Ritts, Gregory Ritts, Henning Schmidt, Hugo Coelho, Jacky Liu, Jeff Schaul, Jerome Becker, Kim Giovagnioli, Linus Fohr, Max Rubin, Michel Kreins, Nick Smith, Nick Beattie, Patrick Barbier, Pit Bingen, Reiland Domingue, Christoph Snaga, Soren Salvatore, Sven Sunde, and Yves Audrimont.

The players will be supported by international coaches and support staff: head coach Khristopher Scott (Canada); offence coach Andrew Barber (Canada); defence coach Drew Pollock (Canada); assistant coach Rob Ingham Clark (UK); sports therapist Samantha Wisbey (UK).

While the roster is set, interested players holding a Luxembourg passport remain encouraged to join the team, regardless of recent experience. Interested players should email management@lacrosse.lu for more details.
