Poland's Minister of Investment and Economic Development, Jerzy Kwieciński, paid a working visit to Luxembourg on Thursday 13 December 2018 and was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy, Étienne Schneider.

During their meeting, Ministers Schneider and Kwieciński pleaded for the dynamisation of economic and commercial relations between Luxembourg and Poland, notably in the field of FinTech, logistics and space. In this context, the Ministers have deepened the prospects for cooperation between the two countries, formalised in a Memorandum of Understanding, signed in October 2018 between Luxembourg and Poland in the framework of the exploration and use of space resources.

During his visit to Luxembourg, Minister Kwieciński also attended the "Fintech & Regtech" conference, organised by the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce (LPCC), to bring Polish start-ups closer to Luxembourg investors. In total, 12 Polish start-ups active in the field of Fintech / Regtech had the opportunity to present their products and technologies to potential investors.
