On Thursday 23 November 2017, Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, met with the Vice Minister of Trade, Ziying Fu, at the Hôtel de Bourgogne in Luxembourg city centre, as part of the BLUE-China Joint Economic Commission, which is taking place from 21 to 23 November 2017.
Discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two countries. PM Bettel stressed that relations between China and Luxembourg could be described as excellent. It was also pointed out that the sectors of transport, ICT, space, automotive, steel as well as the financial sector as FinTech are the sectors of the future in the context China and Luxembourg already have excellent cooperation.
