The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of El Salvador, Carlos Castaneda, will pay a working visit to Luxembourg on Wednesday 18 July 2018 to celebrate 25 years of development cooperation.
As part of his trip to the Grand Duchy, Minister Castaneda will meet with Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, and Romain Schneider, Minister for Cooperation and Humanitarian Action.
As communicated by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Minister Asselborn's discussions with Minister Castaneda will provide an opportunity to reaffirm bilateral ties between the two countries and to explore new ways to strengthen these links.
This visit will also celebrate 25 years of Luxembourg Cooperation in El Salvador. It will be an opportunity to exchange ideas with Minister Schneider who will take stock of the various projects currently being implemented in El Salvador, particularly in the social sector.
During his visit to Luxembourg, Minister Castaneda will also attend the inauguration of the Honorary Consulate of El Salvador in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
