On migration, the Luxembourg Prime Minister and Head of State deplored a lack of solidarity among some members of the European Union in terms of hosting refugees.

Moreover, at a ceremony at the Carlos de Amberes Foundation, the Prime Minister presented honours to three personalities who distinguished themselves with their personal commitment to promoting bilateral relations between the two countries. This included Jacqueline Brasseur, who has been decorated with the insignia of Commander in the Order of Merit for 30-years of services as Honorary Consul of Eastern Andalusia.
