For the local/municipal elections being held this Sunday 8 October 2017, polling stations in the 105 municipalities will be open between 10:00 and 16:00; those who have already applied for it may also cast their vote by postal ballot.
A total of 284,577 residents are on the electoral lists which closed on 13 July this year, of which 34,634 people are non-Luxembourgish and 249,943 are Luxembouirgish.
Between the 105 municipalities, 668 candidates will be elected in total, each for a period of 6 years.
