To mobilise a larger number of foreign residents in Luxembourg to vote on 9 June 2024 during the European elections, the Center for Intercultural and Social Study and Training (Centre d’Etude et de Formation Interculturelles et Sociales - CEFIS) has announced it is organising “multiplier” training courses.

According to the organisers, the objective of this training course is to provide tools and skills to “multipliers” who are committed to informing and raising awareness in their community, their entourage, their neighbourhood and their acquaintances to register on the electoral lists and participate in elections.

This training, in collaboration with the liaison office of the European Parliament in Luxembourg, will address the competencies of the European Parliament, the Luxembourg electoral system, as well as the awareness projects that the participant multipliers intend to develop.

This is a three-hour training course, available in person or online, from 18:30 to 21:30, in French or English.

The dates for in-person training in English at the European Centre (10 rue Heinrich Heine) in Luxembourg City are: Tuesday 16 January 2024 and Tuesday 6 February 2024. The online training in English will take place on Tuesday 23 January 2024.
