St George’s International School, Luxembourg ASBL recently kicked off their Annual Art Exhibition 2018 with a private view for special guests, staff and parents.

Over 90 guests joined the school’s event admiring work from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) up to IGCSE and A-Level work.

St George’s International’s talented Jazz Combo played beautiful Jazz music throughout the evening for guests to enjoy while admiring the art.

"This year the Artwork is of an extremely high standard, the variety of technique, originality and interpretation in each and every piece is admirable. It is very clear to see that the students have had an extremely successful year!" stated Dr Christian Barkei, St George’s Principal as he opened the exhibition and addressed all of the guests.

Head of Primary, Ms Nuttall said "The art show was spectacular! Each year surpasses the last. Really well done to everyone involved for their exceptional work".

St George’s students’ A-level work received great praise this year, with the school proud to have several talented students going on to study art at University: one student will be going to Camberwell College of Arts at UAL to study Fine Art and another is hoping to read Architecture at The University of Cambridge.

St George’s Annual Art exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for students to display their artistic creations and endeavours through the academic year. This event provides an ideal occasion for students, teachers, parents and friends to appreciate and discuss the creative arts in a supportive and positive environment.
