CodeKlass in Walferdange;

Digital Luxembourg, with the support of Luxembourg's Ministry of National Education, Childhood and Youth, has offered digital education to the final classes of secondary schools in the Grand Duchy.

A total of twenty-four secondary school pupils, including a dozen girls, received eduPôle code training at Walferdange over a two week period, which enabled them to develop personal web pages and create a mobile game, while deepening their reflection on the importance of digital technologies for the continuation of their studies as for their future trades.

This training is part of the efforts to raise young people's awareness of the attractions of coding and digital creation, including websites, which the government is undertaking as part of the Digital Luxembourg initiative. The goal was to communicate coding to all students regardless of their future orientation. It was organised in collaboration with NumericALL, with the prospect of a wider awareness.

During the school holidays, the young people are well mobilised for results of which they are legitimately very proud.
