CFL's line 10;
Luxembourg's railways, the CFL, has announced that it will carry out works on line 10 (Luxembourg - Troisvierges - Gouvy) between Ettelbruck and Diekirch from Saturday 25 August until Sunday 7 October 2018; in parallel, the section of the same line between Luxembourg and Diekirch will be closed from 25 August to 16 September 2018, as previously announced.
The construction works are part of CFL's continuing effort to maintain, modernise and extend the rail network; these railway infrastructure projects require the temporary closure of certain sections of lines in order to allow their rapid and safe undertaking.
During the period 25 August to 7 October 2018, alternative buses will run between Ettelbruck and Diekirch (see www.cfl.lu). In most cases, travellers will have to leave earlier to arrive at their destination at the desired time.
