On Sunday 17 April 2016, the Danish Church in Luxembourg will be holding an event dedicated to Luxembourgish History, Customs and Traditions.
Jean-Pierre 'Jemp' Wagener will take participants back in time through the history of the Grand Duchy, explaining local customs and traditions through facts and tales.
Jemp was chairman of the board of the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and still holds membership of the board. He has widely known as one of Luxembourg's most experienced guides, informing tourists and delegations on the country's history and features.
The event will be held from 14:00 to 16:00 at the Danish Church, 28 rue Paul Wilwertz in Centy, L-2738 Luxembourg. Participation costs 15€, to be paid on the door, and registration is required in advance by emailing dankirke@pt.lu or visiting www.dankirke.lu. The event will take place in English.
