The Anglican Church of Luxembourg has announced that it will be holding an Iona Service of Prayer for Healing with Laying-on of Hands on Wednesday 22 November 2017 at 19:30 at the Konvikt Chapel on Ave Marie-Therese in Luxembourg-ville.
The Anglican Church believes that God’s purpose for us all is a life of wholeness, as expressed in the life and teaching of Jesus. Sometimes people feel a lack of wholeness in their lives and a service of healing can help. Healing has both individual and social dimensions, and prayers offered acknowledge personal pain, as well as the need for the healing of divided communities around the world, and indeed the earth itself.
The Iona Community has produced many resources for worship over the years that reflect their particular spirituality. The Service of Prayers for Healing, with Laying-on of Hands, takes place every Tuesday evening in the Iona Abbey church.
