The Anglican Church of Luxembourg has announced that it will mark Racial Justice Sunday with a film screening on Sunday 21 April 2024.

After the 10:45 service, there will be a light meal as attendees watch Moritz Schönecker's short film Travel Safe, to be screened in the Konvikt Chapel by the NGO OnePeople. The Anglican Church expressed its hope that some of the people featured in the film would be present for a discussion.

This event is free but donations towards the work of OnePeople would be appreciated, added the church. Registration is essential via https://anglicanchurchofluxembourg.churchsuite.com/events/lbbxnoxl.

Churches in the United Kingdom and Ireland observe Racial Justice Sunday on the second Sunday of February each year. The ecumenical observance dates to 1995. According to the Church of England, it is an occasion "for all churches to reflect on the importance of racial justice, to give thanks for the gifts and beauty of human diversity, and to commit to end racism and acts of discrimination."
