Luxembourgish pop artist Gezza has announced the release of her debut single ‘Fall In Love’ on her 18th birthday; bringing new sounds and a unique vocal timbre to Luxembourg, this artist should be on your play- and watch-list.

Gezza began writing her own lyrics from a young age, and has always been keen to perform in front of an audience. She finds her inspiration in alternative artists like Bon Iver, Daughter and Bilderbuch. For her first release, she teamed up with producer Navajo, who discovered her talent on YouTube. The music video, produced by latest VCA (Luxembourg Video Clip Awards) winner Cedric Letsch, showcases her potential.

For the launch of her new single, Gezza said “I want to get out of my boundaries, be independent and free. I want people to reflect how the new kids feel and live.” Gezza’s urban look and Italian roots give her a lively and eclectic style. At her young age, she wants to stand out and bring new sounds to Luxembourg. The daring chorus and laidback verses give the debut single a unique character.

The lyrics are profoundly challenging, music is like my shield. I like to give deep nuanced meanings, reflect on my inner self and get positive energy out of it. I don’t just want to leave the profound side to it but dance along and forget about what those words mean. It’s about finding the right mixture between my emotions and letting them all out.”

The strong hooks and catchy melodies make ‘Fall in Love’ a hit that you will want to listen to over and over again - a strong sign that Gezza has a very bright future ahead.
