Trifolion to host Johnny Cash Tribute

Kultopolis has announced that the Johnny Cash Roadshow will perform at the Trifolion in Echternach on Sunday 25 November 2018 at 19:00.

The "Johnny Cash Roadshow" is one of the most successful shows in Europe and has taken Britain and Europe by storm with hundreds of venues sold out.

Johnny Cash was one of the most important American singer-songwriters of the 20th century. Over the course of his nearly 40-year career, he recorded more than 2,500 songs and landed 14 number-one hits on the US Billboard Country charts. But the Man in Black, who sang in front of US presidents in the White House and jailmates in the maximum security prison with his distinctive bass-baritone voice, was much more: folk, gospel, blues, rockabilly, pop, rock'n'roll - a music legend.

Singer Clive John is the reincarnation of the legendary Man in Black, who provides goose-bumps with his signature bass-baritone voice. Clive guarantees a high quality evening. The atmosphere and the interaction with the audience are fantastic. The daughter of Johnny Cash, Rosanne Cash, has said the following about Clive John: "The similarity of Clive with my father is incredibly real!"

Clive John is accompanied live by his band and Jill Schoonjans as June Carter.

The show takes them on a musical journey into the 1950s and ends in 2002. All of Johnny Cash's biggest hits from this era and from his latest album, Out Among the Stars, celebrate the Man in Black. The concert will be pictorially accompanied by photographs and illustrations from Jonny Cash's life.
