Satellite service provider Intelsat, headquartered in Luxembourg, has appointed Narendra Mansharamani as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), it was announced Monday.

Mr. Mansharamani's new role will involve leading Intelsat's finance team in enhancing its analytic framework to bridge strategy and operations with finance and accounting as a means of supporting the satellite services provider's business objectives. He will be based in McLean, Virginia, and will report to Stephen Spengler, Chief Executive Officer and interim Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Mansharamani's career trajectory saw him most recently servce as Director of the Americas at Sabic Innovative Plastics, which provides thermoplastic material solutions. Here, he oversaw the financial performance of the company's $3 billion Americas division. He also previously acted as Director - Global Auto Finance & Pricing, for the company's $2 billion auto strategic business unit. Before his time at Sabic Innovative Plastics, Narendra Mansharamani held positions of responsibility in finance over a ten year period for several business divisions at GE, including GE Plastics, GE Silicones and GE Healthcare.
