Popular demand has prompted the National Scout and Guide Federation of Luxembourg (FNEL) to organise another training weekend for young Scouts this Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2016.

Following the success and popularity of the training events held on 14/15 and 21/22 November 2015, a third weekend will be held at the Misaershaff Youth Training Centre, an old farm located not far from Arsdorf.

The weekend's activities will provide teenagers and young adults with responsibility and skills based on Scouting concepts such as leadership, team building, communication, public speaking, organisation, animation, budget and more. The Sunday programme is changed each year, but in each case takes place outdoors in nature, for which the farm will provide an apt setting. For the 2016 edition, adventure games necessitating cooperation have been selected.

The FNEL was founded in 1916 and was among the founding members of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM). This year, the FNEL received 140 candidates for its training programme, with an average age of 17 years old. 43 young leaders will receive theoretical and practical training this weekend to receive the certificate for Assistant Unit Head or Unit Head.
