The Belle Etoile have announced their new exhibition “Trekking et randonnée” that will be on display from Tuesday 5 until Saturday 16 April 2016.

Through a collaboration with the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Marche Populaire, la Belle Etoile has sought to create interest in trekking and hiking that will, weather permitting, be starting as Luxembourg moves towards a summer climate.

The Fédération will be holding an exhibition in la Belle Etoile’s new gallery to provide visitors with any necessary information on hiking equipment, as well as on the walking tours and trails that will be organised throughout the year. The Marche Populaire walking routes are offered in the options of 5, 10 or 20 km and are held at different locations each weekend so that avid walkers may explore Luxembourg. For the very keen, there will also be a 42 km route.

Furthermore, la Belle Etoile and the Luxembourg Red Cross have organised a collection of walking shoes and trainers which will be donated to refugees. For every pair of shoes collected, Freelander's Outdoor & Adventure will give a €10 voucher for walking shoes in return to the donor.
