Luxembourg's food safety authorities have been informed by the European Commission's early warning system of the recall of 'Tima Waffelblätter 200g' (waffle wafers) products due to undeclared soya beans discovered in the product.
The products were on sale at Cactus supermarkets throughout the Grand Duchy. The products were withdrawn by the distributors, but some of the products had been sold to consumers.
For this reason, the Luxembourg Food Safety Authorities recommend that consumers who are allergic to soya beans should not consume the following products:
- Product: Tima Waffelblätter 200g
- To be consumed by 17 April 2018 and 30 June 2020
- EAN: 3870507000011
For consumers who do not have soy allergies, the products can be consumed safely. Only the commodities mentioned with the indicated dates are concerned.
