Today 20 July, Cathy Goedert has announced that their bakery and pastry shop on rue Chimay in Luxembourg city centre they will be closing at the end of July 2018.
Having opened in 2014, Cathy Goedert enjoyed great success with Cactus stores stocking their sourdough rye bread and hosting pastry courses.
However, the location will be now taken over by high-end catering company Cocottes who aim to open in mid-September. As well as taking over the premises, Cocottes' director, Stéphanie Jauquet, will be keeping on all current Cathy Goedert employees.
The Cathy Goedert shop will have their last business day on 29 July as the takeover will require some construction work to transform the premises.
