Clervaux will be hosting a "Don't Be Square Fair", a market that promotes social solidarity, on Sunday 9 September 2018 from 10:00 - 18:00 within the framework of the Braderie de Clervaux.

The Resonord Social Office will be organising the 4th edition of its solidarity market; a wide range of products made in establishments and enterprises of the social and solidarity economy will be awaiting visitors.

Organic vegetables, delicious treats, jewellery, art and accessories as well as decorative items of wood, metal and ceramics will be offered for sale. Some players in the social economy are specialised in upcycling - they transform seemingly useless objects into high-quality useful products.

The following exhibitors will participate this year in the solidarity market: Autism Luxembourg, Éilenger Konschtwierk, Haff Ditgesbaach, CNDS - Services of mutual aid, Tercentenary, National Youth Service, Cooperations, Kräizbierg Foundation and HMC League. The diversity of products that have been manufactured, e.g. in sheltered workshops or via employability measures, is undoubtedly great.

Throughout the day, a varied programme will operate: visitor, young and old, can participate in free workshops about the circus or pearls, with traditional wooden games in giant formats will also be available. On the music side, Saxitude will enliven the streets of the market.

For the taste buds, the Joo food-truck will serve its specialties of the world, as well as cocktails and smoothies of Jugendtreff Norden, or cake and coffee from Resonord. Visitors will also be able to observe some local craftsmen during the creation of their objects. In short: The Resonord solidarity market will be an opportunity to buy locally, socially and sustainably.
