Luxembourg eyewear brand Gold & Wood has introduced its new "Washiwood" and "Azar" collections.

The new collection combines "washi", a Japanese material used for over 1,300 years with the iconic Gold & Wood style to create "Washiwood" eyewear. These feature meticulously crafted thin vegetable fibre leaves and a stained glass impact against the exotic wood used.

Another novelty is the "Azar" by Gold & Wood collection, created in collaboration with high-end beauty influencer Vanessa Azar. This collection breathes a fashion dynamic into its titanium sunglasses with ther delicate diamond patterned lenses and a polychromatic effect.

Founded by Maurice Léonard in 1995 in Luxembourg, the Gold & Wood eyewear brand is a Maison d’Exception whose craftsmen were the first to master the creation of eyewear from wood. They describe the wood they use as lightweight, comfortable, beautiful and unique, combining it with quality precious metals.
