STEP Benelux has announced details of an evening presentation being held on Wednesday 5 July 2017 at 17:45, at the Vistra Luxembourg Sàrl (14 rue Edward Steichen, L-2540 Luxembourg-Kirchberg).

The presentation on Corporate Law entitled “A year later and one more year to go: update and reminder about the changes to the Luxembourg Company Law of 1915” will be given by Alexandre Gobert of Arendt & Medernach.

Speaker: Alexandre Gobert, a Counsel in the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Wealth practices of Arendt & Medernach where he specialises in corporate law, transactional business law, in general, and private wealth management. Alexandre has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2002. He holds a Master degree in business law as well as a DEA degree in private law from the Université Robert Schuman de Strasbourg. He is a lecturer in company law at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

CONTENT: Almost a year into the changes to the Luxembourg company law of 1915 what elements have impressed or surprised us? With just over a year until the grace period expires what do we need to change in our company statutes and which elements of the company law reform should we look out for? The much talked about reform of the 100 year old law will be given an update at this sponsored event.
