The Luxembourg Stock Exchange has announces that on 15 and 17 January 2024 (14:00 - 16:00 both days), it will be hosting a special training led by the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative (UN SSE) and UN Women on gender equality and capital markets.

Gender Equality: Addressing Complexities in Capital Markets

Gender equality is a complex topic, which can discourage people of any gender from addressing it in the workplace. However, as one of the seventeen UN Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 5) and as a fundamental human right, gender equality has become increasingly essential to capital markets.

This training programme guides participants through the complexities with four modules that take a step-by-step approach that anyone can use to enhance gender equality in markets. Participants will build awareness of sustainable finance through understanding the financial implications of gender inequality, improving corporate reporting and literacy on gender equality, and identifying market opportunities that these improvements afford.

Facilitated by experts from the UN SSE and UN Women, with guest speakers providing insight from practice. This is a CPD certified training and participants will receive a certificate upon completion of both sessions.

Participation in the online training course is free of charge, with online registration.
