14th Open Luxembourg Nationals held at the Coque this Weekend

The 14th Open Luxembourg Nationals swimming competition will take place this Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July 2018 at the Coque,

As well as the Luxembourg elite and junior swimmers, the competition will see numerous international athletes compete in the summer championships before the European Championships in Glasgow (3-9 August) or the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires (6-18 October).

In total, 209 athletes from 24 clubs will be participating in 888 single and 25 relay races this weekend. In addition to the ten Luxembourg clubs, swimmers from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Slovakia and Switzerland will fight for medals and best times.

For Luxembourg's top swimmers Raphaël Stacchiotti, Julie Meynen and Julien Henx the championships are another test before the European Championships in Glasgow. Meanwhile, Pit Brandenburger and Max Mannes will compete for the chance to compete in the EM.  

The competitions start on Saturday and Sunday morning at 09:30, the second section on Saturday at 16:00 and on Sunday at 15:30.
