On Sunday 4 July 2021, a total of 112 young Luxembourgish swimmers took part in the Festival de l'Avenir at Aquasud swimming pool in Differdange.

This youth swimming championship, which was held as a CovidCheck event, brought together 112 swimmers between the ages of nine and twelve from seven Luxembourgish clubs.

In the girls' 2012 year group, Firdaws Meddouri from CN Dudelange won the 100 m freestyle (01:33.40) and the 100 m medley (01:48.30) races. Hanna Anisko from CN Pétange won the 100 m breaststroke (01:55.87) and 100 m backstroke (01:54.08) events. Dana Resl from CN Dudelange dominated the 2011 vintage and won all four races: 100 m freestyle (01:20.91), 100 m breaststroke (01:44.41), 100 m backstroke (01:30.90) and 100 m medley (01:34.85).

In the boys' 2011 year group, Felix Visser from Ettelbruck secured gold medals in the 100 m freestyle (01:20.50), 100 m backstroke (01:35.13) and 100 m medley (01:34.04) races. Krassen Koev secured the 100 m breaststroke title (01:50.93). In the 2010 vintage, Lennox Scheeck from CN Petange secured gold medals in the 100 m freestyle (01:13.90), 100 m breaststroke (01:32.64) and 100 m medley (01:25.20) events. James Ward from SC Mondercange won the 100m backstroke event (01:28.64).

On the afternoon programme were the 400 m freestyle, 100 m breaststroke, 50 m freestyle and 50 m butterfly stroke events. In the girls' 2010 year group, Emma Barthel from Swimming Luxembourg won the 400 m freestyle (05:28.11) and 100 m breaststroke (01:38.05) races. Mira Pavelek, also from Swimming Luxembourg, secured the gold medal in the 50 m freestyle event (33.17). Ashlynn N’Goran from Barracuda Esch Natation won the 50 m butterfly stroke (38.35). In the ' 2009 year group, Teodor Grujic-Martins from Swimming Luxembourg won all four races (400 m freestyle in 05:17.44; 100 m breaststroke in 01:29.90; 50 m freestyle in 30.73; 50 m butterfly stroke in 34.22).

Stefano Valentini from Mondercange triumphed in the 2009 boys' year group. He won the gold medals in the 400 m freestyle (05:20.18), 100 m breaststroke (01:33.09), 50 m freestyle (31.36) and 50 m butterfly stroke (34.68) events. In the 2008 year group, Fynn Kunen from Swimming Luxembourg was unbeatable in the 400 m freestyle (04:58.20), 50 m freestyle (28.62) and 50 m butterfly stroke (31.44) races. Mats Visser from Ettelbrück won the gold medal in the 100 m breaststroke (01:23.16).
