Luxembourg's Mandy Minella's run at the Swedish Open tennis tournament currently being played in Stockholm has come to an end.
Following her defeat in the first round of the women's singles championship earlier in the week to 19 year-old Rebecca Peterson of Sweden, after coming through the qualifying rounds.
In the doubles championship, Mandy Minella and playing partner Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic, were seeded third. Their first match was against Ysaline Bonaventure of Belgium and Rebecca Peterson, whom they defeated 6-3, 5-7, 10-8. In the second round they were forced to withdraw and concede a walkover against Beatriz García and Lara Arruabarrena .
