Luxembourg professional tennis player Mandy Minella and her partner Vera Lapko today won their Women's Doubles match against Xenia Knoll and Irina Bara in yesterday's Luxembourg Open.

The Luxembourg Open, organised by BGL BNP Paribas and taking place from 13-20 October, today saw Luxembourger Mandy Minella and Belarusian partner Vera Lapko win their Women's Doubles match, thus enabling them to progress to the main draw at Kockelscheuer.

Likewise, Anna Blinkova, Vera Lapko, Kristýna Plíšková, Arantxa Rus, Donna Vekić, Pauline Parmentier, Eugenie Bouchard and Belinda Bencic won gainst their opponents in the Women's Singles, thus confirming their place in the next round of the competition. 

Later today, on 16 October 2018, Minella and Lapko will compete against Ekaterina Yashina and Akgul Amanmuradova.
