The Latvian Choir of Luxembourg, Meluzīna, will be holding its traditional Christmas concert on 16 December 2017 at the Protestant Trinity Church at 19:00.
For the fourth year, the Meluzīna Choir, which brings together Latvians and their friends of other nationalities living in Luxembourg and nearby under the leadership of Jūlija Norvele, invites the public to its festive Christmas concert.
The musical event features cappella works by composers from Northern Europe, including those of Latvian composers R. Dubra, A. Jurjans And J. Vītols, as well as Norwegian composers O. Gjeilo and American M. Lauridsen, to name but a few.
The programme will end with performances of the music of J.S. Bach by talented Latvian musicians residing in Luxembourg, the violinist Laura Zarina, flutist Agnese Nikolovska and pianist Mareks Kovaļevskis.
