Following the Zeltic Celebrations in Dudelange last week-end, a number of organisations are planning activities around St Patrick's week-end.

Friday, 16 March

18:00 Official Reception at Cercle Cité hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland, Peadar Carpenter

Saturday, 17 March

10:40 a procession from the Golden Lady to Saint Alphonse led by a piper (see catholic.lu) and featuring a volunteer from various organisations to be involved in the offertory procession (GAA, Ciorcal Comhrá, Irish Stand at the International Bazaar, Irish Club Luxembourg, Rose Committee, Comhaltas, European Schools, ILCC, TCD alumni)
11:00 Father Ed Hone will lead the St Patrick’s Day Mass at St Alphonse. The Gospel will be read in English and Irish, and the Mass will be followed by a reception in the Convent in the grounds of St Alphonse.

Saturday, 17 March

14:30 Ceili for kid, by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Ceili at Centre Culturel Cessange (rue St Joseph, L-1838 Luxembourg)
15:45 Ireland vs England in rugby (in Twickenham in London) - screened live at various Irish pubs in Luxembourg

After the rugby:

@ the Blackstuff: live music from The Surf Cowboys, followed by Fergal McCarthy and his band, then DJ Andy Martin. They will also have the Streetchef Food truck there all day.
@ Eirelux: live music with Angel's Whisper & Backseat

20:30 The Kilkennys are in concert at Syrkus in Roodt-sur-Syre
