The Luxembourg City Tourist Office has released the programme for all the concerts taking place as part of the "Plëss in concert" at the Place d'Armes this August.
These concerts organised in the heart of the city showcase brass bands and orchestras from the Grand Duchy and the Greater Region, providing a platform for local musicians, and allowing residents and visitors to discover Luxembourg's rich musical heritage.
For decades, the band stand at the Place d'Armes has seen military musical brass bands, marching bands, as well as harmonies, and lately jazz and relaxing musical ensembles.
Among the events in August, a highlight is an evening dedicated to the "Summer Night Voices" which will take place on Friday 24 August from 18:00. On display will be The Grund Club featuring Nelly Pereira, Marina & The Kats, Stephanie Boltz and The Bang Bang Duo and Robyn Bennet Sextet.
