Animal Dignity Luxembourg, a platform for information and exchange around animal rights issues, has announced details of the first Luxembourg Animal Rights March to be held on Saturday 25 August 2018 from 14:00 in Luxembourg city, with the protest march leaving from the Place du St Esprit, "Kanounenhiwwel".

A peaceful walk through the city centre will visit key animals of the City of Luxembourg and places symbolising our relationship to animals, and will pay tribute to the millions of animals killed every day by humans.

An intervention by Fabienne Origer, founder of the International Animal Rights Conference and Save Animals asbl, will close the event on Place Guillaume II.

The global annual animal rights march initiative has been in place since 2016 to bring together the vegan community and draw attention to the consequences of animal exploitation.
